As the founder of Ascend Group, Sash brings deep expertise in the intricacies of legal operations, with a proven history of leading global initiatives across contracts, compliance, and legal service delivery. Her career spans collaborations with some of the world’s most respected organisations, including top-tier Magic Circle law firms and Fortune 500 companies.

Having overseen legal outsourcing teams across the U.S., Ireland, India, and Australia, Sash possesses a nuanced understanding of the challenges—and opportunities—within legal process outsourcing. Her experience has made clear the shortcomings of conventional outsourcing models, inspiring the founding of Ascend Legal with a singular goal: to raise the standard.

She drives efficiency through customised strategies, leveraging technology, data, and thoughtful design to deliver measurable value. Her vision for Ascend Legal is to transform LPO by blending cost-efficiency with the high standards of quality, responsiveness, and insight that legal teams truly need.

Dipesh Karia
Dipesh is the Managing Director of Ascend Group and a creative entrepreneur with a rare dual edge—deep roots in the global music industry and a heavyweight background in high finance.
​
Dipesh spent nearly a decade as an Associate Director in Investment Banking at top-tier institutions including UBS, Citi, and Credit Suisse, specialising in Debt Capital Markets. His time in London’s financial sector helped him build a powerful network across hedge funds, private equity, and institutional investors—many of whom now turn to him for deal flow in music and IP assets. Together with his investment banking and music finance background, Dipesh brings a unique and valuable perspective to Ascend Legal, our Legal Process Outsourcing business.

Today, Dipesh further leverages that financial network to drive alternative investments in music, actively engaging over 100 institutional and high-net-worth buyers interested in royalty-backed opportunities, bringing life to Ascend Music Finance.

On the creative side, Dipesh has worked with major platforms like Amazon, Netflix, and Sony TV, and collaborated with leading Bollywood studios including Nadiadwala Grandson and Eternal Sunshine. His credits span blockbuster films like Housefull 3 and award-winning shows like Poacher.

In 2023 Dipesh cofounded ‘Afrodesh,’ an innovative live entertainment and advisory company celebrating the cultural synergy of India and Africa on a global scale. Afrodesh brought superstar Rema to India for South Asia’s first Afrobeat headline tour, alongside major activations with the Indian Premier League (IPL), the Kapil Sharma Show, and Bollywood icons including world reknowned fashion designer Manish Malhotra, Badshah, Nora Fatehi and many others.
